Amazon warehouses in Spain: centres, codes and addresses

Updated on 29 September 2026. Amazon has logistics facilities across Spain, but they do not all perform the same tasks and are not interchangeable shipment destinations. For a seller or manufacturer, a centre’s code helps identify its role; arranging a delivery also requires checking the instructions for the specific shipment.

This guide brings together locations documented by Amazon, developments since our 2023 edition and historical references requiring validation. It is neither an exhaustive directory nor delivery authorisation. Public sources can identify centres, but cannot certify their opening hours, receiving capacity or requirements for every product.

What types of warehouses does Amazon operate?

The term “Amazon warehouses” covers facilities with different functions:

Facility type	Role in the network
Fulfilment centre	Stores inventory and prepares customer orders.
Receiving centre or inbound cross dock	Receives goods and distributes them to other centres in the network.
Distribution centre	Holds supporting inventory to supply other centres; this is the role announced for ZAZ8.
Sortation centre	Sorts parcels for onward transportation.
Delivery station	Organises the final delivery stage. It should not be confused with an FBA replenishment destination.

Amazon explains these differences on its logistics facilities page. A building near your business is not necessarily the right facility to receive your products.

Amazon centres in Spain: documented codes and addresses

The official sources listed at the end of this article document these centres and their municipalities. For postal addresses, we also use independent logistics and industry sources, identified in each row. A published address is not an authorised delivery destination: Seller Central, Vendor Central and shipment instructions take precedence.

Address links open a Google Maps search in a new tab. They help locate an address; they do not verify the centre or its unloading entrance. BCN8 has no link because its address remains unconfirmed. Street names are retained in Spanish to help identify the destination.

Reading the addresses: “s/n” means no street number and is used only where the source specifies it. Missing numbers, plots or entrances are identified rather than invented. Conflicting postcodes or access details must be resolved using shipment documentation.

Other locations in the network

Amazon’s presence map for Spain also lists facilities in places such as El Prat de Llobregat and Castellbisbal, Barcelona; Alcalá de Henares, Madrid; and Onda, Castellón. It distinguishes centres from delivery stations and should not be read as a directory of authorised FBA addresses.

Two clarifications help avoid common mistakes:

• BCN4 is not in the province of Barcelona: it is in El Far d’Empordà, Girona. A code’s prefix is no substitute for the address.
• Onda is in Castellón, not the province of Valencia. The previous edition incorrectly placed it in Valencia when describing VLC1.

When arranging transport, always use the full address accompanying the shipment or purchase order, not just the municipality or code in this guide.

What has changed since the 2023 edition?

ZAZ8: a new distribution centre in Zaragoza

On 7 September 2026, Amazon announced that ZAZ8 in La Muela had begun operations. It holds high-demand products and supplies other centres in the Spanish network. It is a different facility from ZAZ1, which appeared in our earlier edition: do not confuse their codes or destinations. Official ZAZ8 announcement.

OVD1: Asturias now features in the guide

Amazon’s update of 9 September 2026 confirms the Asturias centre’s second anniversary and the rollout of same-day delivery in Oviedo, Gijón, Avilés and nearby municipalities. We have added OVD1 to this selection because it did not appear in the 2023 edition. Amazon’s information on Asturias.

BCN4 is no longer awaiting opening

The 2023 version described BCN4 as a centre being launched. That wording is outdated: in June 2025 Amazon published a review of its second anniversary in El Far d’Empordà. Official BCN4 announcement.

Which warehouse should receive your FBA products?

Do not choose a delivery address by copying it from a directory. Your assigned address appears in the Seller Central shipping workflow. An Amazon team response explains that the destination depends on the products and their origin, and that inventory may be directed to more than one centre. Destination assignment in Seller Central.

Before booking transport, we recommend checking:

1. The shipment has been created in the correct account and has an assigned destination.
2. Products, quantities and labels match.
3. Current preparation and packaging requirements for those products.
4. Documentation and delivery conditions for the chosen transport method.
5. Receiving progress and any subsequent discrepancies.

The official Fulfilment by Amazon guide explains inventory preparation and tracking. Check your account’s instructions each time you prepare a shipment: a previously used address does not guarantee that the next shipment has the same destination.

Vendor deliveries: codes, GLNs and documentation

If your business supplies Amazon through Vendor purchase orders, do not substitute FBA instructions for the documentation specific to that transaction. Check the purchase order, destination and receiving requirements in Vendor Central before dispatch.

The previous version reproduced GLNs, EDI segments, billing details and pallet heights from 2022–2023 communications. Some identifiers were truncated into scientific notation and there were discrepancies between codes and segments. We have removed those details as usable instructions: reconstructing them or assuming they remain valid would be unsafe.

As an operational control, maintain a validated record for each destination and check:

• Centre code and exact delivery address.
• Identifiers required in the transaction documents.
• Consistency between the order, shipping notice and goods.
• Packaging, palletisation and booking requirements, where applicable.
• Current billing details, kept separate from the receiving address.

This guide does not provide a universal pallet height, schedule or tax record valid for every centre and supply arrangement.

Historical references: codes awaiting revalidation

We retain these references to help readers working with old documentation, not as a list of currently authorised centres. They come from Sitelicon’s March 2023 edition and have not been revalidated here against current operational documents.

If an order uses one of these codes, check its details in the relevant platform. The absence of public confirmation in this article does not by itself prove that a centre has closed.

Frequently asked questions about Amazon warehouses

How many warehouses does Amazon have in Spain?

It depends on which facilities are counted. Amazon’s corporate timeline refers to around 40 logistics facilities, a broader category than fulfilment centres. This should not be read as 40 FBA warehouses or a precise, permanent figure.

Can I ship to the nearest Amazon centre?

Do not replace the assigned destination with another because it is closer. For FBA, check the shipment in Seller Central; for Vendor supplies, use the purchase order documentation and confirm any change before delivering.

Where are BCN4, OVD1 and ZAZ8?

BCN4 is in El Far d’Empordà, Girona; OVD1 in Siero, Asturias; and ZAZ8 in La Muela, Zaragoza. The official sources linked at the end of the article provide context for each facility.

Can I use warehouse addresses to return a purchase?

Do not use a logistics directory to choose your own return destination. Start the return from your order and follow Amazon’s instructions for that item.

Where can I check unloading hours, phone numbers and GLNs?

Check the channels and instructions associated with your shipment or commercial relationship with Amazon. This article does not publish unloading phone numbers, schedules or identifiers whose validity we cannot establish.
