This policy explains who is accountable for Sitelicon articles, how we handle sources and how we distinguish current information from our historical archive.
Our criteria
Articles are signed by the Sitelicon Team because they are created and maintained through shared expertise in ecommerce, technology, marketing, data, design and operations. Our team page identifies the people and disciplines within the company.
When content includes data, requirements or features that may change, we prioritise official documentation, original sources and public bodies. Sources used are listed at the end of the article whenever available.
We distinguish the publication date from the update date. Content recovered from the previous website is identified as editorial archive so readers know it describes a historical context and that some conditions may have changed.
We correct objective errors and update content when a review materially changes the information. The visible update date identifies the current editorial version.

Articles may link to Sitelicon services related to their subject. Those links are presented separately from the editorial content and do not replace the sources supporting a claim.
Corrections
Send us the URL, the passage we should review and, if possible, a reference source. The team will verify the information before changing it.
